The Right Truck On Moving Day

One of the most important reasons for scheduling an in-home estimate is to determine the best mode of transportation for your household goods. After taking inventory of your household items we base our decision on the approximate number of boxes you or our team may pack, the size and number of furniture items to be moved and the location of the front door or garage we would be moving items in and out of. Some alleys and apartment complexes make for a tight fit for larger trucks!

12 ft Moving Truck

Unless we are moving small items of furniture or doing pick up and delivery we rarely use 12 ft trucks. Great for moving boxes!

Recommended for:

  • Up to 3,100 lbs
  • Up to 120 medium boxes
  • 1-5 medium furniture items

16 ft Moving Truck

Usually the most common pick for pick up and delivery of larger furniture pieces, apartment moves from 1 to 2 bedrooms and some small duplexes. As well as relocating your business  or small office space.

Recommended for:

  • Up to 3,400 lbs
  • Up to 250 medium boxes
  • 1-10 medium furniture items

26 ft Moving Truck

We have been tricked in the past by taking a 16 ft truck to a town home or condo so now any town home or condo along with a 2 bedroom house or larger we use 26 ft trucks to avoid second trips and aggravated clients.

Recommended for:

  • Up to 12,000 lbs
  • Up to 500 medium boxes
  • 1-15 medium furniture items
